I wanted to make this album a story. The story of an important part of my life. The one who made me a free man since this journey 10 years ago, through the American West which made me grow wings to fly and settle in the forest.

I had to adapt, invent, build what was to become the home sweet home for me and my little wild family. Jacob Wild was born. It was my new name, my new identity. In the past I was a punk rock musician, folk musician, studio engineer for 15 years. Then I really discovered the blues, which overwhelmed me, it was so much in phase with my new life. The need to remake music was vital and she had to look like me, just be wild.

In the title of this album everything is said would you say to me. All that remains is to listen to what prompted me to change my life. Unfortunately it is the human, the society, the incomprehension and the malaise which are the cause of my exile.

Being a big fan of this “American Prayer” Doors album, I wanted to write, tell stories, play to share, give wings to others. Music for me becomes my way of helping others so as not to feel guilty about my happiness.

I don't consider myself a blues musician because I don't have enough blues culture, experience and talent but I try to make original music that looks like me within the limits of the onemanband game that I want to keep pure. The real record that I would have liked to share with everyone is this one, where I tell all that, not just 11 songs on a cake. He is there with the blues spirit for me. That's why I created this “story” version of the album where you can soak up that bluesy atmosphere of storytellers from the Mississippi.

It is available on the internet for people who buy the disc and for you by clicking on the button below . I couldn't put it on disk.

Good listening

Keep wild
